All of the material featured in our online courses is copyrighted and no part may be duplicated, copied, photocopied or reproduced in any form, or by any means, without prior permission in writing from Human Givens Services Ltd. ( Click here for contact details.)
Payment and course access
Once your payment has been processed and approved via PayPal, you will be sent an automated receipt and will have instant life-time access to your online training course. However, under no circumstances may any registered user share or distribute their user IDs or passwords to third parties. Any breach of these terms could result in the immediate suspension of the account.
You agree that any information you provide to us about yourself upon registration or at any other time will be true, accurate, up to date and complete. We reserve the right to terminate your registered online training account and access to our e-learning if we learn that you have provided false or misleading information. And we have the absolute discretion to cancel your username/password at any time if we suspect it is being used by an unauthorised person.
Under no circumstances whatsoever shall members distribute the courseware contained within this site. Each course is individually licensed and any member found in breach of this term shall have their account suspended immediately.
Cancellations and refunds
If you wish to cancel your enrolment you may do so within 7 days, so long as the course has not been accessed or started. Refunds are given at the discretion of Human Givens Services Ltd and must be requested in writing within 7 days of purchasing the course.
No refund will be given in the event that the course has already been started; it is not possible to offer refunds for partially viewed courses. We therefore highly recommend you read the course outline carefully before enrolling on a course to ensure it meets with your expectations.
Refunds will not be considered for technical difficulties that are outside our control, such as slow bandwidth performance. Our online courses are designed to be accessed using a broadband connection, but we have no control over the devices upon which the course is being viewed nor internet bandwidths which can affect performance causing brief delays in the downloading and display of film clips or HTML pages.
CPD certificates are issued to participants who have completed the entire course and requested one using the link at the end of the course.
All bookings are subject to availability on the chosen course.
Once we have received your booking for an attended course and full payment, we will send you a confirmation and receipt within five working days, either by post or electronically, confirming your place along with directions of how to find the event venue.
Certificates of Attendance are issued to participants who attend the entire 1- or 2-days’ training and complete the event’s evaluation form.
If you work or volunteer for an organisation, which will pay against an invoice for your place(s), please send us an official purchase order or letter of authorisation detailing who we should send the invoice to. We are sorry but we unable to invoice individuals.
To change dates or delegate names
We are happy to change the name of the delegate who is to attend a course upon notification. We will also change the dates/venue of your booking (provided the newly preferred date/location has availability), but in order to avoid an administration charge, you must give us a minimum of seven days’ notice prior to the date of the initial event you had booked onto.
We guarantee a credit for a future course, minus a £15 administration fee, if you have to cancel more than seven days in advance, and are genuinely unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. If less than 7 day’s notice is given, an administration fee of £45 is deducted to cover costs incurred by the College.
In the unlikely circumstances of any course being interrupted as the result of a natural or unforeseen disaster, or illness of the tutor, it will be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, you will be given a full credit for a future event. We reserve the right to change tutors if necessary.
(a) personal arrangements and expenditure, including travel, accommodation, hospitality and other costs and expenses incurred by you relating to an event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk, and neither we nor the relevant event partner(s) shall be responsible or liable to you for any wasted or unrecoverable costs or expenditure in relation to such personal arrangements, even if caused as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or alteration of an event, and
(b) neither we nor any relevant event partner(s) shall be responsible or liable to you for any loss of enjoyment or amenity, including where an event has been cancelled, rescheduled or altered; and
(c) neither we nor any relevant event partner(s) shall be responsible or liable to you (and you will not be entitled to any refund) if admission to a venue or event is refused or revoked at any time as a result of your breach of any event partner’s terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to remove a person from any of our courses if their behaviour is disrupting the learning experience of other students. This includes the Human Givens Diploma 2-week Part 2 course and Part 3. If a decision to remove a student from the Diploma Part 2 course or Week 3 is made, we will refund the fees for any remaining unattended days of the course at our discretion.
