A baseline for human flourishing

The Conciliators Guild, which seeks to spread new knowledge that widens context in politics, helps increase tolerance and nimbleness of mind and encourages the development of practical solutions, has a new podcast which it publishes on its YouTube Channel. The latest interview with Ivan Tyrrell (see above) talks about the human givens approach – which is fundamental to the work the guild does.

Other interviews include one with Iain McGilchrist on Civilization and the divided mind and another fascinating one with Dr Calum Nicholson entitled An Anthropology of our Age of Discord.  All three interviews are well worth watching.
