Part 3 is the Human Givens Practitioner Qualification; the pre-requisite to becoming a fully qualified human givens therapist, eligible for inclusion on the HGI’s Professional Register (which is independently accredited in the UK by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care).
Throughout the week, students practise and demonstrate a broad range of practical therapeutic skills under close supervision and rigorous on-going assessment by the two tutors and experienced facilitators. Students who have already successfully graduated from the course enthuse about how useful and enriching it is. (learn more)
Between Part 2 and Part 3 of the Diploma students are expected to carry out extensive therapeutic practice, with a minimum of 10 different people, under ongoing supervision. For more information, please read the following downloads.

Outstanding! A scintillating learning experience that I didn’t want to end. I know I will be using the skills I have learnt as life-long ‘tools’ and I’m looking forward to embedding and integrating my learning in the months and years to come.
Elizabeth Mary Sabey
It didn’t feel like a ‘work’ training course – it’s more like a blueprint for life, absolutely fascinating. HG has changed my life, given direction to my work and improved my effectiveness as a GP.
Adam Lake
This course was the most stimulating, thought-provoking and exciting learning experience I have ever had. As well as being continually stretching and enriching, it was always great fun. The teaching model of the diploma is rare in that it suits all different learning styles.

A really valuable learning experience – confidence boosting.
A great opportunity to draw all the previous learning together. The help and guidance and the group participation has taken my understanding to a different level and confidence in moving on in my practice. Some great opportunities to work through some personal situations in a very caring and supportive space.
Week 3 was immensely practical. The opportunity to play the role of therapist and client with feedback for both was very helpful in refining skills and correcting faults. The group dynamic was excellent and everyone learned from each other. I got so much from the week, I can’t fault it in any way!
Brilliant course, very thorough. I found it personally very beneficial, thank you.
Really excellent. Now so much more confident in guided imagery, rewind and particularly counter conditioning. I am so glad I did Part 3 this way. Refreshed and consolidated knowledge and cleared up some of the confusions I had. Very helpful – really good balance of activities. The supportive and encouraging approach of the facilitators was brilliant – great opportunity to grow. Also loved the experiential exercise – helpful & good fun too. The feedback and constructive criticism of skills was also really helpful.
Excellent learning experience. To consolidate Part 2 and practise and receive feedback. All aspects of the week’s work were extremely valuable. Observations of other sessions, performing live therapy sessions, critical reflection, personal development and teaching elements.
Thoroughly enjoyed the massive learning in week 3 on not only our own sessions, but those of our colleagues and peers. Really helpful to see a variety of scenarios presented by peers with the phobias/traumas and addiction. Feedback from tutors was particularly helpful.
The week is intense, but thorough – the opportunity to practice in a safe environment and learn from others is invaluable.
It’s incredibly intensive but necessary. I feel all my learning from Part 2 has been solidified and cemented. I feel ready to be a therapist now. Even though the live therapy sessions were a daunting experience, they helped enormously. Particularly sitting in on the other sessions and seeing how the other therapists use metaphor and stories.
A fantastic week – stretched us to be better. I learnt so much. So very pleased I did this course.
I loved it! Feel a lot more confident about giving therapy. Particularly helpful to get so much direct feedback, looking at therapy being done and also receiving therapy was a great learning experience for me.
I learnt a LOT. It was a challenging week but well worth it. It just ties up all the loose ends. Really helpful watching other people and learning from them too.
This week has been the best, most interesting week of human givens training I’ve done to date. It pulls it all together.
